* THURSDAY MORNING THE STAGE WAS 36.6 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND RECORD FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 35.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE RISING TO A CREST AROUND
47.5 FEET BY MONDAY MAY 23RD.

* THURSDAY MORNING THE STAGE WAS 53.9 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND RECORD FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 48.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE RISING TO A CREST AROUND
65.5 FEET BY MONDAY MAY 23RD.
* IMPACT...AT 64.0 FEET...MAJOR FLOODING IS IN PROGRESS. ANGOLA
LANDING WILL REMAIN UNDER WATER AND FERRY SERVICE WILL BE
TERMINATED. ALL RIVER ISLANDS, RECREATIONAL CAMPS, AND RIVER BOTTOM
FARM LAND WILL BE UNDER WATER.

* THURSDAY MORNING THE STAGE WAS 26.3 FEET.
* MAJOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 27.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY THURSDAY
AFTERNOON MAY 6TH AND CONTINUE TO RISE TO A CREST AROUND 36.0 FEET BY
MONDAY MAY 23RD.
* IMPACT...AT 34.0 FEET...RIVER BARGE TRAFFIC BECOMES DANGEROUS,
PARTICULARLY WHEN NAVIGATING SHARP TURNS ON THIS STRETCH OF THE RIVER.
