Wrong question -
Better question would ask Courreges if he would feel safe living beside the saltdome on the TxBrn side or over the yet to be located 2.75 million cubic yd void(s).
It would be safe to live on TOP of the dome. The sediment above the dome is compacted/ denser than that outside the perimeter of the dome and there is a couple thousand feet of solid salt above any cavern top. For a sinkhole to form the sediment in that area must have a place to go, in TxBrn cavern and.or the void(s)
