Thank you for spreading this information. I am the mother of a 19-year-old, one of the older survivors of infant LCHAD. LCHAD is the inability to metabolize long-chain fatty acids, where VLCAD is the inability to metabolize very long-chains. We fight a mystery disorder every day, and most doctors don't have any idea that it exists. There will be more news as information is proved about the possible links to autism and other disorders. Keep this up!
