Neglected dogs find new homes

MANDEVILLE, La (WVLA) --Six of the dogs rescued from an abandoned puppy mill in Robert now have a new home.

Two others are in foster care.

The St. Francis Animal Sanctuary hosted the adoption event on July 31st.

The animals will be available for adoption every weekend in August at the following location:

Mandeville Trailhead (between Girod and Lafitte Streets – 2 blocks south of U.S. 190)

Depot Building (on Lafitte Street)

675 Lafitte Street

Mandeville, LA

9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
