BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — La Film Workshops is just scheduled two new workshops for June. First up, LAFW is bringing back its Final Cut Pro Basics class beginning Monday night June 21 at 6:00 pm. This three-day workshop is a strong introduction to Apple’s flagship video editing program, along with the basic principles of non-linear editing. The workshop will be taught by editing professional, Randy McAllen, who is Head of Production at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries and extremely proficient with the complete Final Cut Pro Studio, as well as Avid, Photoshop and After Effects.
Next, LAFW is excited to announce the next iteration of their Camera for Filmmakers Workshop. This class will take place on Saturday June 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. LAFW is bringing back instructor and cinematographer, Jeremiah Fry. Mr. Fry most recently shot the feature film, Letting Go and his complete Filmography can be viewed on imdb.com. This workshop will cover aspects of HDSLR Cinema, including proper composition, depth of field choices, color settings, important tools for filmmakers and overcoming limitations.
