Dozens of people rallied on the Capitol steps, hoping to get the Governor to change his mind about the federal stimulus money.
They handed over a petition with 40,000 signatures. They wanted the Governor to accept nearly $100 million in federal stimulus money for unemployment benefits.
Jindal said, he rejected the money because it would raise taxes on businesses and cost the state more in the future.
