Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — In the early morning hours of May 1, a building caught fire, along with another building and a boat on Choctaw road.
Baton Rouge firefighters say when they arrived on the scene at 4:30 a.m., the building was totally burned, and the roof had already collapsed.
The fire burned a TV repair shop next to it, as well as a boat adjacent to the building.
Even though firefighters are still investigating this incident, witnesses told NBC 33 they think it's arson.
"We had no electricity hooked up to this side of the warehouse, so I heard the tanks blowing. We have acetylene tanks, and we do welding. I heard the tanks blowing, and I can't see any reason why it would catch on fire." said warehouse worker Gary Andrus.
