Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Mayor Kip Holden opened up about the ongoing argument about federal grant money tonight at the East Baton Rouge Metro Council meeting.
He and one of his financial advisors fielded questions about how grant money has been spent up until now.
The back and forth was heated at times, and one council member was actually stopped from asking questions.
Chandler loupe, a metro council member, was demanding answers from Holden about how the grant money has been spent.
Their conversation was postponed, as they have set up a "special meeting" on May 11 to discuss the topic.
