Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's office told NBC33 news that at least one Baton Rouge woman has fallen victim to a sweepstakes scam.
They use phone and address lists bought from contests like Publisher's Clearing House to get your information.
Then, they say you've won $285,000, but it will cost $1,100 to get it. But if you send the money, the prize never comes.
