Governor Bobby Jindal is taking time out today to mark the one year anniversary of the Crisis on the Coast, which is April 20.
The governor saying this is a good chance to look back over the past year.
He says it's important to remember the eleven men who lost their lives on the Deepwater Horizon rig, and to see just how much more work needs to be done on the coast and in the state.
“We'll certainly remember that a lot more work needs to be done to make our state and communities whole,” stated Jindal. “To restore our coast to restore our businesses and our people."
Jindal will mark the annivesary in Grand Isle.
