A bus pulled over on I-12 turns into a big time drug bust on April 4.
Deputies stopped made the stop on the interstate yesterday as it was traveling from Houston to North Carolina.
A drug dog was brought in and found more than 40 pounds of cocaine distributed between two suitcases.
It was hidden in a cereal box, a Rubbermaid box, and amongst children’s clothes.
Deputies tell NBC33 news the drugs couldn't be linked to anyone on the bus. After the drugs were taken, the bus continued on its way.
