Tornado touchdown in Rayne, La

RAYNE, La (NBC33) -- The National Weather Service reports a tornado touchdown in Rayne, La. has caused serious damage, possibly even a death.

We're told the touchdown happened around 11 a.m. A gas line was said to be ruptured, and there are claims of up to 50 injuries.  

 Another tornado was reported just down the road in Crowley.
