This is an NBC33 News update: Power has been restored, but there are still some serious traffic delays in the area. However, that should be resolved within the hour.
BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) -- Major traffic delays are being felt in several areas of Baton Rouge. A representative from Entergy tells NBC33 News this is due to an outage at the Ward Creek Substation.
Along with traffic light outages, 2,200 customers are currently without power service. The primary areas being affected area near the Mall of Louisiana and Seigen Lane.
We'll find out what caused the outage and have that information on NBC33 News at 5 p.m.
