BATON ROUGE (NBC33) - Today the city went to the dogs as the Krewe of Mutts parade went on in downtown Baton Rouge.
This is the twelfth year that the CAAWS organization has organized this parade.
Canines and their humans were encouraged to dress up in Mardi Gras colors, build a pet sized float that could be pulled by wagon, or theme it up.
Another great thing about this parade is that this is the largest fund-raiser for CAAWS and raises much needed funds for the CAAWS community outreach spay/neuter program.
It was a howling good time.
