BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) -- Another project has been finished in a long list of plans for fixing up the city. Mayor-President Kip Holden hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Sevenoaks Avenue Multi-Purpose Pathway Wednesday morning.
The city added a mile of sidewalks along Sevenoaks Avenue, along with new crosswalks, benches, and pet care stations. This is the sixteenth finished beautification project in the Green Light Plan Program.
Mayor Holden says there are more than 20 projects still in the works.
