BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33)-- The census numbers are out. The suburbs of Baton Rouge are some of Louisiana's fastest growing parishes.
Those hardest-hit by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita had the largest losses.
Louisiana received its more detailed breakdown of the 2010 census data Thursday, Feb. 3. Among the statistics: Ascension and Livingston Parishes have the largest percentage of growth, topping more than 39 percent.
East Baton Rouge Parish is now Louisiana's largest, with more than 440,000 residents.
