This is an NBC33 News update – The LSU School of Music announced today that it has canceled its 2011 Concert Spectacular, and will offer refunds or exchanges of tickets sold for the event.
“Due to numerous scheduling conflicts and a very full performance calendar, we are regretfully unable to reschedule the Concert Spectacular this semester,” said Willis Delony, interim director of the LSU School of Music.
The event was originally scheduled to take place on Friday, Feb. 4. However, because of inclement weather conditions in the area on that date, the concert was postponed and later canceled.
“Though this decision was difficult, we look forward to a long list of wonderful events sponsored by the LSU School of Music,” Delony said.
Those wishing to refund their tickets or to exchange for future School of Music events can do so by contacting the LSU Student Union Box Office at 225-578-5128, Delony said.
