BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) Erick Jermaine Banks, 29, of Baton Rouge was arrested last night by the Baton Rouge Police Department. He is accused of coercing a teen girl into engaging in sexual acts for money with unknown males. Detectives say Banks placed ads on the Internet to solicit men.
Banks was arrested and charged with Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes. This arrest comes less than a week after Governor Jindal announced new proposed legislation for the purpose of increasing and bettering laws regarding human trafficking.
