BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) - Today is Arbor day, and residents were out at LSU's burden center turning their thumbs green.
Trees were planted, and programmed into satellites so that way the planters could track the growth.
There were even people that came out from last year to check on the status of their tree, be it pine, or live oak.
When the planting was done, folks wandered through trails constructed by Steele Burden him self.
It was just a great day to be outside.
