BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) – Imagine being diagnosed with a terminal disease for which there is no cure, no real treatment and a life expectancy of two to five years.
There are five thousand new cases of ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease each year and that’s what they’re faced with.
This Saturday, Jan. 22 is the Fire and Ice Gala, which is a fundraiser supporting the fight against ALS.
Jim Engster, President of the LA Radio Network and talk show host, joined Tammi Arender live on the set on Monday, Jan. 17 to discuss the upcoming gala.
