NEW ORLEANS, La (NBC33) - Chris Paul scored 18 of his 22 points in the second half to help the Hornets come from behind and beat the Hawks, 93-86. Hornets Center, Emeka Okafor, finished with a double-double as he scored 14 points and pulled down 15 rebounds in the winning effort. Trevor Ariza had his first double-double as Hornet with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
WIth the win, New Orleans improves their record to 18-12. Head Coach Monty Williams and the Bees remain tough to beat at home winning 13 of their 16 games in the New Orleans Arena.
The Hornets are in third place in the Southwest division behind San Antonio and Dallas.
The Bees now hit the road to take on the Minnestoa Timberwolves on Monday. Tip off is set for 7 p.m.
