BATON ROUGE (NBC33) - Southern led Tulane by four points at halftime but couldn't hold on to the lead in the second half losing, 65-68. Kendall Timmons scored 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds for Tulane as the Green Wave won for the eighth time this season. Jordan Callahan helped the Green Wave overcome the deficit by scoring 13 of his 19 points in the second half.
Southern was led in scoring by Blake Sanford who had 22 points. Brandon White added 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Jags (1-10) take on LSU (7-5) in the PMAC on Monday at 6 p.m. Tickets are still available.
