BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) -- A social club, turned sister-hood is on a special mission in Baton Rouge.
They call themselves the Krewe of Krows, and began a supper club twenty years ago with twelve realtors, from Jim Krow realty.
They've been through a lot since then, including four members' battles with breast cancer.
Today those survivors and their band of sisters are giving back to cancer patients at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer center in Baton Rouge.
The Krewe joined Healing Place Church to pass out hope, with these throws for warmth and a prayer of healing.
The throws not given out today, will be donated to the homeless in Baton Rouge.
