BATON ROUGE, La. (NBC33) A group of men from Lafayette want to show the world Cajun Men Cook. Members of the Beaver Club of Lafayette stopped by Barnes and Noble in Perkins Rowe to offer shoppers a taste of Cajun cuisine, and sign copies of their book, Cajun Men Cook: Recipes, Stories and Food Experiences from Louisiana Cajun Country. The book is a compilation of recipes from the men of the Beaver Club who came up with the idea after realizing they all had their own secret recipes for many traditional South Louisiana favorites.
Members say the book has already sold thousands of copies. Proceeds for the book go to different charities the Beaver Club donates to in Lafayette.
