BATON ROUGE (NBC33) - Govenor Jindal says Baton Rouge will be home to 75 new jobs by 2013.
The Lighthouse for the Blind, once based in New Orleans, is moving to the Capital City.
The company moved part of the operation to Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina. After being in the works for 2 years, The Lighouse announced the MS operations would move to Baton Rouge.
The company which makes paper cups that are sold to US Government will be up and running by March of 2011. Operations are expected to expand through 2013.
Federal Law says 50% of employees will be blind or visually impaired.
