KENTWOOD, La (NBC33) - A high speed chase in Tangipahioa Parish leads to a big arrest.
Deputies say - 34 year old Shaff Carter was blocking an intersection early Tuesday morning. When deputies tried to get Carter out of the car - they say he swore - and then took off. The chase went up to speeds of 110 miles per hour. Carter was eventually taken into custody.
He has a list of charges to answer to now. They include resisting arrest and failure to register as a sex offender.
