GONZALES, LA (NBC33) - December 13, 2010 - A new toll road is being built to ease the congestion of highways 16 and 431.
Parish Presidents Tommy Martinez and Mike Grimmer have put their heads together to come up with a new toll road that could ease the traffic of highway 431 and highway 16.
These roads are notorious for their traffic in the early morning, and in the afternoon rush hour.
This toll road will go between highway 16, and highway 42, and end at Parker's Grocery where highway 16 splits into 447.
It's a two mile road that will only cost two dollars, but save drivers a headache
