BATON ROUGE, La. (AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION) Your normal pack of smokes is about to get a new look.
The FDA says it will soon require all cigarette packages to have stronger warnings labels, and for the first time ever picture messages will cover 50% of the pack.
The American Lung Association is applauding the move. They are hoping the warnings' graphic images will discourage kids from smoking and get those who are already light-up to kick the habit.
The ALA is encouraging you to go to their website, check out all of the images, then send the FDA an email with your label choice.
We want to know what you think about these images are they too graphic? Or are they what's needed to get people to stop smoking?
