NEW ROADS, La. (WVLA) A Pointe Coupee jury found Larry Snyder guilty of murdering his girlfriend Davina Chapman.
Late Wednesday attorney's delivered their closing arguments. Around 9 PM, Judge Robin Free asked the jury to consider the evidence and render a verdict.
That jury convicted snyder on 2nd degree murder charges.
They say Snyder was the man who kidnapped Chapman from a bar back in July of 2009, drove her to the 4-mile Bridge in Pointe Coupee Parish then hurled her body over it.
Snyder said Chapman fell over the bridge accidentally. A medical examiner testified saying that was possible, still the 12-member jury convicted Snyder.
