Classes at Istrouma High canceled today

BATON ROUGE, La (EBRSB) -- Due to a power outage last night and this morning, classes at Istrouma High School have been canceled for the day. Students already on campus will be picked up by a school bus and returned home. This cancelation affects all students who attend Istrouma High School, as well as those that attend EBR Lab Academy which is housed on the Istrouma Campus.

An automated call was sent to parents regarding this situation.

School official will continue to work through the day to ensure that power is restored for school tomorrow.
