BATON ROUGE, La (WVLA) – A simple traffic violation turned up a five pounds of marijuana after a K9 unit sniffed out the stash.
A State Trouper became suspicious of Patrick Alexander, 39, of Covington so a drug sniffing dog was brought on scene. The dog located five pounds of marijuana on the back seat of the truck.
Alexander was booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Detention Center on charges of Manufacture/Distribution of Schedule 1 Drugs and Improper Lane usage.
