Police: Man sends sexual texts to minor

HOLDEN, La (WVLA) A Holden man is locked up in the Livingston Parish Jail accused of sending racy text messages to one of his teenage son's friends..
Authorities say 54-year-old Franklin Dale Church used his phone and computer to send the 13-year-old girl sexual images of himself.
They say he sent the pictures from the Livingston Ballfield near the girl's home.
Investigators say that's where they arrested Church last monday, after he put up a fight.
Church was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail on 1 count of computer aided solicitation of a minor and 3 counts of resisting arrest.
