PLAQUEMINES PARISH, LA — The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office announced that a fugitive wanted for Cyberstalking since September 2013 is now in PPSO custody.
Thirty-year-old Justin David Lambert was living in Vinita, Oklahoma, where he was arrested on June 11, by the Craig County Sheriff’s Office.
Lambert was extradited to Plaquemines Parish by PPSO detectives and booked on his outstanding warrant on Sunday, June 29. Lambert is currently being held without bond, pending a magistrate hearing.
Lambert’s charges stem from an incident that happened September 13, 2013. According to police, Lambert contacted the victim on a cellphone and left a voice message threatening to kill her. He had made previous threats to the victim through text messages.
The victim had obtained a restraining order against Lambert in March 2013. PPSO was unable to locate Lambert, but believed that he was living in the Baton Rouge area.
Recently, PPSO learned that Lambert fled to Oklahoma; however, he refused to surrender to law enforcement authorities.
Lambert has prior convictions in Louisiana for burglary, theft, forgery, and possession of stolen things.
