BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — The Milwaukee Bucks drafted LSU forward Johnny O'Bryant III in the second round of the NBA Draft. He was the 36th overall selection.
"I am really excited for Johnny O'Bryant and his family. It's great to see his patience and his hard work has paid off," LSU men's basketball head coach Johnny Jones said in university news release Thursday night.
In 2013-14, O'Byant had eight 20-plus point scoring games and eight double doubles. He averaged 15.4 points a game, 7.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists a contest while playing an average of 30 minutes a game. He was ninth in the SEC in scoring, fifth in rebounding and his 49.6% field goal percentage (203-of-409) was the fourth best in the league.
