BATON ROUGE, LA — Southern University officials met with the NCAA Wednesday in Indianapolis to talk about their current “unusable data” ban that’s keeping every Jaguar sports team out of NCAA postseason play.
Athletic Director William Broussard, Chancellor James Llorens and six other school representatives met with NCAA’s Committee on Academic Performance.
An NCAA spokesperson tells NBC33 they will release the results, or data, later this summer.
Meanwhile, Southern can’t comment on the meeting for 21 days, per NCAA mandate, and the athletic teams remain under the NCAA postseason ban until further notice.
