SCHRIEVER, La (WVLA) – A twenty-two year old man was arrested last night in Lafourche Parish for shooting a man May 4, 2010 after a drug deal went wrong.
Sheriff Vernon Bourgeois of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office said an arrest warrant was issued for Alvin Campbell of Schriever back in July. Detectives learned of Campbell’s involvement with the incident a week after the shooting on Hue Street occurred, but they have been unable to locate him until now.
Campbell was booked on Thursday, Oct. 21 at the Lafourche Detention Center and released to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office. He has been booked on one count of attempted first degree murder with a bond set at $300,000.
