LSU call center fields over 900 fraudulent claims

BATON ROUGE, LA (WVLA) Today at LSU the National Center for Disaster Fraud was a buzz.

The National Center for Disaster Fraud has gotten over nine hundred phone calls reporting fraudulent claims from the BP oil spill.

U.S. Attorney Jim Letten is acting as an executive director for the office.

He says the phone calls are invaluable, and that the people calling in are the eyes and ears of this office.
