Gonzales man accused of raping 12 year old boy

GONZALES, La (WVLA)--Ascension Sheriff's Deputies arrested a 45 year old man early Thursday morning after he reportedly raped a 12 year old boy.

Deputies say they got the call Wednesday night from the sister of the victim.  They say she told investigators she found Pedro Ortega in her home and heard her brother crying.  When she asked what was wrong, they say the young boy told her Ortega had molested him.

Ortega later turned himself in authorities.  He's charged with aggravated rape and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.
