Baton Rouge — Baton Rouge police arrested man for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl.
According to police reports, the victim was home alone with Thomas Scott, 35, while her mother was at work.
The victim said Scott came into her bedroom, took off her clothes, and began to rape her. When the girl screamed, Scott stopped and left the room.
Scott allegedly called the girl’s mother and told her the girl had a bad dream and wanted to go and stay with her grandmother.
At the grandmother’s home, the girl told her grandmother what Scott had done.
Baton Rouge Police have arrested Thomas Scott, 35, 1188 Rosenwald, Baton Rouge, on a single count of Aggravated Rape.
Investigators questioned Scott, who denied the allegations.
A local doctor told investigators that there was discoloration on the victim that could be signs of trauma.
Scott was charged with Aggravated Rape and transported to EBR Parish Prison.
