BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — A spokesperson for ExxonMobil released a statement Friday afternoon to update the public about their gasoline.
According to the statement, all fuel products currently being distributed by ExxonMobil meet Louisiana’s strict requirements and are safe for use in vehicles.
Their investigation revealed an unusual variation of the fuel in the affected batches, but they do not detect the same issue in the batches currently produced.
According to the release, ExxonMobil claims representatives are in Baton Rouge working directly with customers who purchased the bad fuel to resolve their claims.
ExxonMobil representatives say they apologize for any inconvenience customers might have had.
