BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — If you’re trying to get healthy, the American Heart Association is helping you do that with a designated walking path in Baton Rouge.
A path by United Plaza between I-12 and I-110 on Essen Lane, now has a walking path for anyone who wants to use it.
Heart disease is the number one killer of Lousianans and Americans, so this path is geared to encourage at least a half hour of exercise a day.
And people involved say it's a great way to get everyone up and moving.
They also hope the path excites people about the heart walk in Baton Rouge.
