BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — The Louisiana Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit (HTCU) on Thursday reported the arrest of two Louisiana men for child pornography charges.
Brandon L. Hunt, 25, of Denham Springs was arrested Wednesday, Feb. 19, on 50 counts of possessing and six counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles.
Agents from three departments searched Hunt’s home, where they found proof of child pornography as well as evidence of drug and gun-related crimes.
Hunt was also charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance. He was booked into the Livingston Parish Prison.
Christopher Marler, 27, of Sulphur, was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Marler was caught during an undercover investigation exchanging child pornography videos online.
He was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Jail on four counts of possessing and five counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles.
If convicted as charged, the men face up to 20 years in prison on each count of child pornography.
