BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — Love is a wonderful feeling, especially on Valentine's Day.
Local florists are proof that the cozy feeling will be spread across the area this week.
Workers at the Four Seasons Florist are busy putting together hundreds of arrangements, which will be delivered on Friday.
Owner Larry Fremin says while Valentine's Day is all about love, it's not just for couples anymore.
"It's a love holiday. So, we find that even bosses want to buy things for the ladies in the office, just a single flower or something. So, it's friends for friends. It's not just for the husbands, wives, and girlfriends anymore," Fremin said.
The majority of florists have stopped taking orders for deliveries, but you can still stop by the florist to buy pre-made arrangements.
