STORMTRACKER33 — A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for EBR, WBR, Pointe Coupee, West Feliciana, East Feliciana, and Iberville Parishes from 6pm tonight until 6am tomorrow morning. A strong cold front will move through today with temperatures plummeting late this afternoon and all night long. There are two concerns tonight, first is the possibility of sleet and snow mainly along and west of a line from White Castle to Centreville, Mississippi. The second is wind chill values approaching 10 degrees across much of southwestern Mississippi as the cold air moves in. There are indications that moisture may hang around long enough for light sleet mixing with light snow early this evening, and then quickly changing over to light snow during the latter evening and early morning hours. All precipitation should come to an end a few hours before sunrise. Intensity will be light and overall not expecting much in the way of accumulation, but there is the possibility of a combination of sleet and snow accumulating on elevated surfaces up to just under half of an inch. Winds will not die down overnight and should remain around 10 to 12 mph. This combined with lows in the upper teens will produce wind chill values near 10 degrees just before sunrise.
