Louis Brandeis is nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court by President Wilson. Brandeis became the first Jew named to the court and served as Justice for over 22 years. Brandeis University is in Massachusetts, and the University of Louisville’s Louis D. Brandeis School of Law were both named after him. He died in 1941.
