BATON ROUGE, La (WVLA) -- Seventeen year old Charles McEleveen of Baton Rouge has been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder and Illegal use of a dangerous weapon in connection with a shooting that happened on Marque Ann Drive at the end of September.
McElveen is accused of shooting and killing Christopher Guillory, 22, as he stood in the front yard of a residence.
Homicide investigators received an anonymous tip, which led to McElveen’s arrest.
He was already booked in East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for Attempted Second Degree Murder that was unrelated to this case.

At about 2:00 this morning, police say a man was shot on North Marque Ann Drive.
The man was standing in his front yard when the shooter reportedly killed him while walking past his house.
The Police say the man was transported to Baton Rouge General at Mid City where he died later due to his exstensive injuries.
There are no motives or suspects in this murder. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers.
