BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The Verizon Foundation will present a $10,000 grant to the Capital Area Violence Intervention Center, also known as Iris, to support its ‘Men Working to Prevent Domestic Violence’ program. This support will help the organization with a public awareness campaign and men’s training series
Through Verizon’s support of this program, men in the Capital Area will be engaged and empowered to speak out against domestic violence.
The check presentation will take place at the organization’s upcoming Board Meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at 5:30 p.m.
