HAMMOND, LA — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a man for an October Robbery in Hammond.
On the morning of October 19, a robbery occurred at Kyle's Quick Stop on the corner of 190 East and Pleasant Ridge Road in Hammond. The suspect entered the establishment and while the clerk was completing the sale for his purchase, he pushed her down and stole the money from the register. Fortunately, the clerk was unharmed during the incident.
The suspect, later identified as Mark Anthony Bridegewater, 21, was caught on camera leaving in a silver-colored Honda Prelude. Detectives were able to identify the owner of the vehicle and gather information regarding the incident.
As a result, Bridgewater was apprehended and positively identified as the robbery suspect. He was charged with Simple Robbery.
