NEW ORLEANS, LA (NBC33) — Some former LSU students are in the Big Easy this week for the debut of their feature film at the New Orleans film festival...
Co-directors Eddie Jemmison and Sean Richardson stopped by NBC33 today, along with actor and Baton Rouge-native John Mese, to talk about the film and the big opportunity.
"King of Herrings " is an off beat look at four regular crescent city guys who dream big in a small world. It's been described as woody-allen-esque, a comparison both Louisiana directors find flattering. However, what makes the premiere so exciting for them is the fact that it's happening in the place that inspired so much of the realism you'll find in the film's charachters.
The film will be shown at the festival on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 5:00 p.m. and then again on Oct. 15 at 3:45 p.m. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 8. Click here for more information .
