CROWLEY, LA — Crowley police have a arrested a man in conjunction with a rash of burglaries that happened in the 1100 block of West Mill Street back in February 2013.
Officials say investigators closed the case with the aid of DNA testing.
“Officers recovered DNA samples from the scene of three vehicle burglaries in February. As the investigation unfolded, a possible suspect was identified. A DNA comparison was requested and completed through the Acadiana Crime Lab. The crime lab was able to confirm that the DNA samples matched our suspect” stated Chief KP Gibson.
Blake Laglinais, 20, has been charged with three counts of Vehicle Burglary. He has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.
